School-Based Bcba

In collaboration with esteemed school districts in Highwood, IL, we areseeking a dedicated and qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. As a BCBA, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential behavior analysis services to students, supporting their academic, social, and emotional development in the school setting.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for students with challenging behaviors.
• Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents on behavior management strategies and interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to implement individualized behavior support plans and ensure consistency across environments.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and modify interventions as needed.
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on behavior goals and acmodations.
• Stay current with research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavior management.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
• Valid licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Behavior Analyst in the state of Illinois.
• Minimum of one year of recent experience working as a BCBA in a school-based setting.
• Knowledge of behavior assessment tools, functional behavior assessment (FBA), and behavior intervention plan (BIP) development.
• Strong munication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
