Scheduling Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Scheduling Coordinator. As a Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling of appointments for our dental office. Your primary responsibility will be to coordinate patient appointments, ensuring that all scheduling needs are met and that patients receive exceptional service.

Duties:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in person and over the phone
- Coordinate with dental providers to ensure availability for appointments
- Manage and update patient records in our electronic medical record system (Epic)
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and patient satisfaction

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a dental office or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.97 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
