Full-Time in Cleveland, OH - NASA

LOCATION: Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, OH (Hybrid schedule)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The scheduler will support NASA under the CPSS contract at GRC (Glenn Research Center).

• Develop comprehensive program/project schedules using MS Project through logic development and evaluation of logic networks, WBS, and WBS dictionaries.
• Gather and input status/forecast changes to project schedules.
• Conduct “what-if” scenario analysis and workaround planning to provide project management with resource and schedule projections.
• Conduct ongoing project schedule reporting and maintain project schedule archives.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a U.S. Citizen and complete a U.S. government background investigation.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Desired 10-15 years of applicable work experience
• Desired prior NASA/aerospace experience
• Experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera
• Experience using software like Acumen Fuse, Milestones Professional, Onepager Professional, and SharePoint is desired.
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and complete a U.S. Government background investigation.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other related certifications desirable.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Work Environment- Generally an office environment but can involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
• Physical Requirements- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods). It may require lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. (5% of the time).
• Equipment and Machines- Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
• Attendance- Regular attendance by the established work schedule is critical. Ability to work outside the regular schedule and adjust the program to meet peak periods and surge requirements when required.
• Other Essential Functions- Must be able to work in a team atmosphere. A professional behavior that enhances productivity and promotes teamwork and cooperation must be implemented. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
