In Richland, WA, our Mental HealthClinicians provide essential support by conducting mental health assessments, crisis intervention, case planning, and service coordination for youth with identified mental health needs within the Richland School District, ensuring a smooth transition of care.RESPONSIBILITIES:● Meet with youth in the Richland School District with identified mental health needs for assessments, crisis management, and appropriate referrals.● Refer and coordinate behavioral services for youth with identified behavioral health needs within the Richland School District.● Attend and actively participate in multidisciplinary and multi-tiered school teams, providing guidance and information to school staff and families for the safety and well-being of youth with mental health issues.● Utilize crisis intervention techniques for client stabilization, accurately assessing risk to self, others, and property.● Complete all progress notes and required documentation within designated timelines.● Complete all necessary training and meet or exceed productivity expectations.● Recognize and appreciate the value and strengths of all cultures while maintaining professionalism in cross-cultural interactions and adhering to organizational policies and procedures.Role(s): Role-specific responsibilities for this job are outlined as follows.● Team Member. All LCSNW team members are responsible for upholding and encouraging LCSNW values: compassion, integrity, interdependence, inclusion and stewardship; communicating openly and effectively; building collaborative relationships in balance with working independently; and strictly adhering to confidentiality and HIPAA standards.REQUIREMENTS:● (1) year of related professional experience; knowledge and training in the areas of human behavior and mental health; awareness of individual differences in ability, personality, and interest.● Excels in serving and fiercely advocating for diverse and marginalized populations● Adheres to and applies established operational processes in a timely, appropriate way● Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment● Master's in Social or Behavioral Science or related field● Washington State Counselor Agency Affiliated Registration or related professional license is required within (60) days of hire.● Fluency in English, both spoken and written● Basic mastery of Google Suite and Microsoft 365 applications● Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.● Works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle.● Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment● Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with long periods of stationary activity and minimal periods of increased physical activity, including but not limited to sitting at a desk, typing on a computer, and occasionally walking within the office.● Moves equipment/materials weighing up to (20) pounds● Travels between worksites occasionally● Works in a variety of settings, including and not limited to a High School setting, LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, and faith-based settings such as churches● Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements; SAM/OIG healthcare sanctionsThe Perks: We offer a full benefits package with options for medical, dental, prescription and vision coverage; employer-paid short and long-term disability, as well as life insurance.
