JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President of Human Resources (VP HR) at EDP will play a pivotal role in driving the organization's people strategy and fostering a culture of excellence, engagement, and growth. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with EDPs business goals and objectives.
- Partner with executive leadership to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Lead the HR function in creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process for all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment with workforce planning and talent needs.
- Develop innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the dental industry.
- Implement effective onboarding and orientation programs to integrate new hires into the organization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations issues.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
- Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the competitiveness and fairness of compensation practices.
- Collaborate with finance and executive leadership to manage the HR budget effectively.
- Develop and implement learning and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, capabilities, and career development opportunities.
- Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to address organizational and individual development needs.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth across the organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, preferably in the healthcare or dental industry.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including ADA, FMLA, and EEOC guidelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strategic thinker with demonstrated experience in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR technology platforms.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Remaining in a stationary position for prolonged periods, often seated
- Entering text by typing on keyboard for lengthy periods
- Ability to communicate, understand and distinguish speech
- Ability to use computer to read and enter text
