*Sap Abap Developer

Zurich (Schaumburg, IL) seeks an SAP ABAP Developer to work within the Corporate Enterprise Integration & Data Management unit to support and advise on the development of SAP S4 Finance modules by understanding the requirements of customers and recommending application performance improvements to ensure alignment with business requirements. Specific duties include: perform complex SAP ABAP design, development, coding, testing, debugging, and correction of work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of SAP modules; ensure that enhancements and changes meet established business requirements and are delivered with high level quality; understand customers’ processes and products and how they fit within the goals of the function or business unit; work independently as an SAP Developer & S4 ABAP CDS Modeling; be responsible for the creation of S4 ABAP CDS Views for core SAP S4 Finance modules; be part of the development of SAP Design Studio reports (Dashboard) and SAP AO Analysis for Office reports using S4 ABAP CDS views; work with business SME and technical staff to understand requirements and develops to Specifications; troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical problem; and estimate Rough Order of Magnitude for the level of effort/cost of new application functionality. May work remote 40% of the time.

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or a closely related field of study, plus 7 years of experience in the job offered, or similar position in the S4 development and AO report design. Must have 7 years of S4 ABAP development covering all WRICEF area including 3 years in Insurance or Financial Services industry. Must also have 5 years of experience working with Modeling and building CDS views. Additionally, must have 3 years of experience with: developing reports using Analysis for Office (AO) and SAP Design Studio; and doing ABAP development work in SAP FICO and SAP FSCD OR SAP FSRI modules. May work remote 40% of the time.
