Sandblaster/Painter

We are currently hiring a sandblasting, painting and ideally coating experience.

Location:Pasadena, TX 77507

Pay rate: $22-$24

Must be able to run a tape line!

Will require:

Sandblaster/Hydroblastin or Painting experience

DISA Background -

NASAP drug screen

Basic plus

Duration - temp to hire.

TWIC preferred.

Willing to travel

Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting or refinishing by sandblasting them
- Operate sandblasting equipment and tools to remove paint, rust, and other debris from surfaces
- Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed while performing sandblasting tasks
- Inspect surfaces after sandblasting to ensure they are clean and ready for further treatment or painting
- Maintain and clean sandblasting equipment to ensure proper functioning

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Sandblaster or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of different surfaces and materials that require sandblasting, such as stucco, drywall, and metal
- Experience in remodeling, maintenance person work, or construction is a plus
- Ability to weld or perform basic welding tasks is beneficial
- Familiarity with caulking and construction estimating is desirable
- Proficiency in airless paint spraying techniques is an advantage
- Ability to read blueprints and understand color theory is helpful

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and be able to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
