Job Overview:
As a Salon Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth salon experience. Your role will involve managing appointments, handling payments, and assisting with retail sales.
Duties:
- Greet clients and visitors in a warm and welcoming manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using our salon software
- Manage the salon's cash register, handling payments accurately
- Provide information about salon services and products to clients
- Assist with retail sales
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Communicate effectively with stylists
- Ensure client satisfaction by addressing any concerns or issues promptly
- Manage inventory of salon supplies and restock as needed
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and handling financial transactions
- Knowledge of retail math for accurate pricing and sales calculations
- Ability to sell salon services and products
- Attention to detail to ensure accurate appointment scheduling and payment processing
- Friendly and professional demeanor to provide exceptional customer service
