Salon Coordinator

Revive is a well-established nail brand in the city of Chicago. With over 11 years of serving the greater Chicago area, we are known for the quality of our work, backed by 50+ years of nail expertise. Our newly renovated tranquil space invites clients to come in for relaxation, beauty, and nourishment. We are looking for someone calm, collected, and cheerful to join our Team. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, eager to assist others, and can quickly adapt to circumstances. They are passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience. Their objective is to build a valuable link between the clients and nail technicians. Their goal is to secure sales transactions and generate positive client relations. They have a creative eye and take aesthetically pleasing photos and videos. They are quick on their feet to find solutions and be on top of things. Responsible and trustworthy, they wear a warm, cheerful countenance at all times. Along with excellent people skills and communication skills, this individual is task-oriented, organized, efficient, and takes good care of the salon space. This person carries a professional image.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops and maintains positive client relations and implements front desk policies and procedures.
• Promptly responds to customers’ inquiries via telephone, email, and text.
• Assists in taking high-quality photos and videos of nails, services, staff, and salon for social media and marketing material
• The ideal candidate can help prep services and learn to perform removals if necessary
• Understands the need to maximize the appointment calendar through efficient booking and scheduling
• Establishes a rapport and builds relationships with the team and clients
• Implements the salon marketing strategies for the front desk and telephone
• Manages the booking schedule of 8-12 nail techs
• Maintains abreast with the current promotion and adheres to the usability of coupon code
• Knowledgeable of the services, duration, and pricing
• Orders and tracks inventory for office supplies, front desk supplies, and drying station supplies. Maintains display and stock retail area. Implement monthly specials and promotions within the salon.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the entire salon. Willing to perform light cleaning duties such as mopping floors, washing cups, etc.
• Meet with management on a routine basis to report marketing, booking, and customer service issues. Report all data pertaining to technicians and the entire body of staff to the Management.
• Accountable for balanced cash-out reports
• This individual is confident in their ability to provide a fabulous first and last impression of the salon

REQUIREMENTS:

• Availability from 12 pm or 3 pm to 8:30 pm during the week and at least one weekend day
• Available to work part-time and will transition to full-time
• You'll be given a set schedule with some flexibility. Ideally, you'll be available if shifts need to be covered or another receptionist takes time off
• Minimum 2 years of experience working in customer service
• Familiarity with salon software is a plus
• 1 year of salon experience is a plus but not required

COMPENSATION:

• Ranges from $16.50-$18/hr based on experience
• $750/mo potential bonuses per month guaranteed!
