We are seeking a dynamic and creative Salon Assistant who will be responsible for a variety of tasks including social media management, administrative support, and content creation. This role plays a crucial part in enhancing our salon’s online presence, maintaining smooth daily operations, and creating engaging content to attract and retain clients. Key Responsibilities: 1. Social Media Management: - Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to promote the salon’s services, products, and brand. - Create engaging and visually appealing social media content including posts, stories, and reels. - Schedule and publish content across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency in branding and messaging. - Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and engage with followers. - Analyze social media metrics to track performance and adjust strategies accordingly. 2. Administrative Work: - Coordinate with clients to confirm and reschedule appointments as needed. - Organize expense receipts in QuickBooks 3. Content Creation: - Produce high-quality written and visual content for the salon’s social media platforms. - Create and edit promotional materials, newsletters, and email campaigns. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into content creation. 4. Additional Tasks - Prepare workstation for each client - Sanitize and sterilize station after each client - Disinfect makeup brushes when needed - Maintain inventory of salon supplies and retail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
