Leap is an Insurtech startup seeking a Salesforce (SF) Engineer to support our rapid expansion. This is an opportunity for the right person to join an exciting startup with significant prospects for growth. Joining a small firm means that you must be a self-starter and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. We are looking for an experienced and versatile SF Engineer to improve our information technology ecosystem. In this role, your duties will include code design and development, code and QA review of SF development done by vendor partners, and liaising between all internal departments, including leadership. You may also be required to provide training. To ensure success in this role, you should demonstrate experience and creativity in system development and application design. Outstanding individuals will combine their IT expertise with knowledge of our business.

Since 2018, Leap has been a provider of innovative occupancy and risk management solutions for the multifamily and single-family rental markets. Its products serve to make apartment and single-family leases more affordable, providing insurance alternatives to security deposits and guarantors. Leap recently completed a Series A funding round, has annual revenue growth of 100%+ and will continue to grow organically and via acquisition.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison with PMO, development teams, and end users to develop solutions that meet business requirements within and across multiple Salesforce platforms;
- Design, code, and implement Salesforce custom solutions (including troubleshooting and fixing bugs) as prioritized by PMO / Leadership;
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including data dictionary for all fields, process automation jobs, etc;
- Promote a culture of process improvement and change management;
- Promote and support Leap’s objectives across all aspects of our business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. university.
- Minimum 3+ Years of Salesforce.com Development;
- Salesforce Certification (Admin/Developer) is desirable (Required).
- Strong hands-on experience in writing Apex, Triggers,Visal Force,Lightning Applications & Web Components.
- Proficiency in SFDC Customizations such as Custom Objects, Custom Tabs, Custom Fields, Validation rules, Page Layouts, Record Types, Flow etc.
- Proficiency REST API and Relational Database experience;
- Proficiency in Salesforce administration.
- Good knowledge on using Profiles, Roles, Permission sets and OWD Settings.
- Good knowledge of data management using Data Loader & experience on Data migration will be an added advantage.
- Good knowledge on different clouds (Sales/Service).
- Technical writing;
- Having knowledge on Reports & Dashboards.
- Understanding of CSS and Salesforce Lightning Design Systems (SLDS) .
- Microservices development including Amazon Web Services will be an added advantage;
- Ability to keep up with IT advancements;
- Exceptional communication skills toward facilitating the use of new software systems;
- Comfortable with change and enjoy the excitement of new challenges;
