In this role you will work with various departments to envision, create, release, and support reporting and analysis based primarily on the Salesforce.com platform. In this role it is critical to develop an understanding of not only the object model, but the processes and business goals of Moody’s Analytics in order to facilitate the creation of insights. In this position is it not only required to have a strong technical and business grasp, but to be constantly expanding your knowledge and technical capabilities as the business and technology landscape evolves.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Establish, maintain, and expand library of standing reporting for common use-cases enabling users to self-service.
  • Performing analysis of data prior to building reporting to determine data viability for target insights.
  • Determine ‘right tool for the job’ from various reporting/analytic capabilities.
  • Develop new and maintain existing Salesforce.com reports and dashboards to support business initiatives as needed.
  • Develop new and maintain existing CRM Analytics (formerly known as Tableau CRM) recipes, datasets, lens, and dashboards to support business initiatives as needed.
  • Perform ad hoc data analysis as needed.
  • Recommending changes to core Salesforce.com platform and/or data remediation/cleansing to enhance data-points available and achieve better reporting capabilities.
  • Leveraging predictive and generative AI to develop more insights and improve delivery velocity.
  • Learning new tools, features, & technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience. Technical discipline preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience with salesforce.com with a solid understanding of the Sales and Service Cloud object model
  • Expert in Salesforce.com reports and dashboards.
  • Strong experience building dashboards and reporting in model BI tooling. Salesforce CRMA (preferred), Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Proficient in SQL and SOQL.
  • Experience with Alteryx, similar toolset, or demonstrated ability to perform adhoc analysis on large dataset in other ways.
  • A data-driven mindset and strong demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills – ability to influence, drive decisions, and lead discussions utilizing data.
  • Ability to build relationships and to influence and collaborate across departments to achieve objectives.
  • Possess a high level of integrity. Be widely trusted, direct, and truthful, with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and gain confidence.
  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with CPQ object models (e.g. Salesforce CPQ or Apptus)
  • Reporting experience in the following areas; SaaS/Subscription bases business, Sales, Support, Rev Ops.
  • High-level scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript)
  • Experience leveraging generative AI in daily work.
  • Experience deploying and maintaining predictive models in Salesforce

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is [$71,200] to [$103,300], depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
