Job Description
- Looking for 2-5 years of experience in a BI Development role. (Not looking for just Report Developers or Just Data warehouse (ETL) developer, would love a hybrid of both). Not looking for an admin either, but a true BI Developer. We use Informatics for ETL and Micro strategy for reporting and also have some Cognos tools. (Specifically Cognos Decision Stream). Not required just giving you our environment.
- Have to be VERY Strong in SQL development – do whatever to make sure they tech out in this area.
- Ideal situation we would find someone with at least 1 year of Micro strategy experience. But not 100% required. If you find someone that has worked with multiple reporting tools that will work to. Micro strategy or Cognos, or BO, OBIEE etc. The other thing that probably will not work is someone that is a SME in just one tool – that drives the cost up and would not work in our environment. Looking for a BI Development Generalist.
- Selling Points are if prove themselves when they get here, they may have the opportunity to get training directly from Micro strategy and/or Informatics – not guaranteed promise but potentially.
