Resp & Qualifications
PURPOSE:
Provides formal and informal training to sales teams, sales support teams, and additional areas outside of sales that are key to the sales process. Utilizes business trends to determine development needs working with subject matter experts to develop training around new product launches and changes in current products/services. Enhances sales teams' consultative selling skills through observation, coaching and reinforcement of best practices.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides coaching to sales & sales leadership; Conducts training sessions; Develops training resources.
- Determines training needs by studying sales results reports and conferring with sales leadership. Improves training effectiveness by developing new approaches and techniques; making support readily available; integrating support with routine job functions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Professional Sales, Business or related field OR in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.
Experience: 5 years or more in a Sales or Sales leadership position.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
- Ability to understand complex rules, regulations, procedures, and functions to disseminate that knowledge to in a clear and understandable format to others.
- Ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be able to meet established deadlines and handle multiple customer service demands from internal and external customers, within set expectations for service excellence. Must be able to effectively communicate and provide positive customer service to every internal and external customer, including customers who may be demanding or otherwise challenging.
Salary Range: $72,936 - $144,859
