WHAT IS THE POSITION:
The Sales Systems Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and optimization of our sales technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales operations, CRM administration, and a strong understanding of sales processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Sales Systems strategy aligned with business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to understand and address their technology needs and challenges.
- Stay informed about industry trends and recommend new technologies to enhance sales operations.
- Partners with technology team to prioritize and plan work
- Provides functional requirements for all CRM and CPQ development
- Ensures data integrity, user adoption, and continuous improvement of CRM processes.
- Lead efforts to integrate Sales Systems with other business applications to streamline processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation to enhance sales productivity and efficiency.
- Partner with Sales Intelligence team to implement and manage sales analytics tools to provide insights into key performance metrics.
- Develop training programs to ensure sales teams are proficient in utilizing Sales Systems.
- Ensures effective change management procedures are applied to all significant changes impacting users
- Provide ongoing support to address user inquiries and issues related to sales technology.
- Maintain working knowledge of industry, market, and competitive landscape
- Fosters a culture of inclusion and cross-functional collaboration

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Sales Operations, with a focus on Sales Systems, CRM and CPQ administration
- Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to translate them into functional system requirements.
- Experience with Salesfoce.com, Salesforce CPQ, and additional systems in the revenue tech stack.
- Experience with one or more Sales Analytics tools, such as Tableau, Clari, Annaplan, Einstein
- Sufficient technical expertise to effectively partner with the technology team
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effect change through influence, rather than direct authority
- High degrees of Business acumen, ability to proactively design systems that will improve sales team performance, ability to interact directly with sales leader to understand goals and translate then into functional requirements
