BASIC PURPOSE:
Sales Support Specialist provides senior-level Sales Support within the Premier Account Management team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support new contracting process to ensure accuracy and speed of execution.
- Manage administration of contract renewals in adherence with the process, as directed by the Premier Account leader.
- Support system updates to accurately track sales activity, reporting, and adjustments to alignment.
- Support form completion for all existing accounts, expansion activity, PO approvals, and sales as directed by the Premier Account leader.
- Monitoring order activity for all premier and third party accounts; escalate any volume, service or activity gaps
- Function as liaison with internal support teams to ensure timely attention to service issues as directed by the leader:
o Billing research and resolution
o Reporting
o Researching issues, data, etc.,
o Escalation research and follow-up (billing, starts, reporting, etc.)
- Keep track of and report on existing account activity to flag potential opportunities, issues or delays.
- Builds positive, effective relationships with client contacts and consistently provide best-in-class service.
- Suggest solutions and improvements in a timely manner.
- Stay up to date with latest sales trends and best practices.
- Work in conjunction with team members to create an exceptional client experience.
- All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience
- High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum two – four years’ experience in a professional business environment supporting multiple executives within a sales team.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and dedication to customer satisfaction.
- Solid working knowledge and proficiency in MS Office Suite products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Previous experience using a web-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool preferred.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision; take initiative and be proactive; work in a team environment with a sense of urgency completing tasks on deadline.
- Demonstrated professional and adaptable demeanor while interacting with internal departments, Consultants, Clients, and Vendors.
Company equipment(laptop, monitor, keyboard, mouse headset) will be provided directly to you for use during employment.
