Sales Support Specialist

Job description

The Role:

We are looking for an energetic, motivated individual to coordinate overall Sales Support. The core function of this role is to support all sales staff and provide customer service to current customers. This person must be a proven self starter, have superior phone manner, and have proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

• Logging sales calls

• Setting appointments for field sales team

• Mailing promotional materials

• Answering customer service calls

• Closing sales

• Customer portal entry & management

• Involvement in local professional organizations

Experience and Qualifications:

• Required minimum of combined 3-4 years Sales Support and/or account management experience

• Highly enthusiastic worker with a positive attitude

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience

• Highly proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint

• Ability to organize requests and efficiently prioritize responsibilities

• Remarkable attention to detail, coupled with ability to meet and exceed critical deadlines

• Ability to cultivate critical relationships and perform in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment

• Adaptable and flexible to changing business needs

• Ability to effectively present and communicate information

• Comfortable and confident working independently or with minimal supervision

Specific Waste Industries provides medical and pharmaceutical waste removal services to hospitals and other medical facilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
