Dakota Carrier Network (DCN), a provider of high-speed broadband communication services, serving North Dakota customers with locations within the state and through its partnerships has an opening for a Sales Support Representative. This position can be located in either our Fargo or Bismarck office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide support to Sales Account Executives in Fargo and Bismarck offices.
- On-the-job training to prepare and submit various forms and notifications internally and to outside companies to enable DCN to order and broadband connections throughout North Dakota and across the region.
- Perform necessary follow-up procedures to organize and monitor pending service orders.
- This may require setting up meetings with internal and external parties to coordinate services.
- Maintain records used to verify circuits terminating in member company service areas. Process Billing Summaries and submit to Accounting for processing.
- Maintain customer and carrier contracts.
- Other duties include answering incoming calls relating to quotes and orders, electronic record keeping and various other tasks.
Qualifications:
- Requires the ability to work in a team environment.
- Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) required and proficiency preferred.
- Candidate must have the ability to plan, organize and multi-task.
- Ability to work well with a variety of customers and business associates.
- Associate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM preferred.
