Job Summary:
The Sales Support Coordinator, FDM Division, will provide high-level support by conducting research, handling information requests, and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings. The Sales Support Coordinator will provide support to the National Sales Manager, Regional Sales Managers, Account Managers, & Sales Specialist for Conventional Channel. This job will be done by performing administrative functions and handling information requests regarding specified Mass, Internet, & Pet Accounts. This includes a compilation of sales data, assisting in the preparation of business review presentations, creating and organizing details surrounding category review periods and new item/distribution gap fills, completing new item and promotional paperwork, and preparing and managing a variety of correspondence, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. This is a remote position for those who live outside of 40 miles from Nordic Naturals headquarters in Watsonville, CA. Our culture is very important to us and for team members who live inside of the 40 mile radius we expect them to be able to travel to headquarters, 3 days each week. For remote employees that live outside of the 40 mile radius, we expect them to be able to travel to headquarters, once every 3 months, if required.
Key Responsibilities:
Process customer orders
PO Acknowledge, Advance Shipment Notice and Invoice sales orders and assist with other EDI functions
As applicable and directed, interact with vendors providing the highest level of customer service to build and promote confidence in Nordic Naturals
Answer all questions for vendors, brokers, stores, and account managers
Required to be knowledgeable, have relationships with and know all about our accounts and contacts, not just the account managers
Process Returns, damages, and credits for vendors
Manage Shipping/Delivery discrepancies with Operations
Work directly with different departments; Warehouse, Operations, Accounting, education, QA, etc. to handle and solve issues and build relationships
Assist Sales Managers, Account Managers, & Specialist - FDM Channel in annual customer business reviews
Assist in annual customer business reviews
Prepare and push correspondence specific to the channel using Word, Excel, PowerPoint processing or database FDM brokers, where necessary
Manage and upkeep trackers
Create spreadsheets upon request from account managers pertaining to department needs (examples: SuperDIMS, Vendor contact lists, APL's per vendor, etc.)
Conduct Research, compile data and prepare proposals for consideration and presentations the account managers are creating
Conduct Research, compile data and prepare proposals for consideration and presentation
Attend meetings, take notes on all action items and execute action items as directed
Miscellaneous projects when needed for the department
Other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications:
2+ years customer service experience
Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment
Proficiency and understanding of SAP, and EDI
Salesforce and/or SPS experience a plus
Strong verbal and written skills
Excellent time management and attention to detail
Comfortable moving through high order volumes with strict timelines
Pay, Benefits & Perks:
The estimated hourly pay for this role is $20 to $22. This pay is an estimate and the exact compensation may vary depending on an applicant's location, skills, prior experience, professional qualifications, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may also include incentive compensation (i.e. bonus or commission) if applicable.
