We are seeking a highly engaging, tech-savvy individual to join our sales team on a part-time basis who will thrive on showcasing the latest innovations in consumer electronics. This dedicated specialist will represent our multinational client, Sony®, and their premier line of televisions, soundbars, headphones and wireless speakers.
As our Sony Home Electronics Sales Advisor, you will play a key role in promoting the Sony brand by understanding the needs of customers, answering their questions, comparing various product specs & features, and offering personalized recommendations for solution-based purchases. Last but not least, this role takes place in the local Military Base Exchange. Our Sony Advisor will take initiative to provide a world-class customer service experience for our military service members, veterans, and their families.
It’s our goal and commitment to help make consumer technology purchases easier, more personalized, and more informative for the customer while also boosting brand awareness during peak selling hours.

SCHEDULE & LOCATION:
- 12 hours per week
- Friday & Saturday 12pm - 6pm
- 504 Barnes Blvd McChord Air Force Base WA 98438
- All candidates who receive a written offer of employment will be required to undergo a pre-employment background check

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Build strong relationships and rapport with Base Exchange customers and personnel
- Identify customers' needs and recommend appropriate Sony products and accessories
- Proactively engage customers through the sales process, from initial greeting to closing the sale
- Provide trainings to Base Exchange staff on the various Sony products, as requested
- Ensure that products are properly merchandised, displayed, and functional
- Complete same-day online reports to document visits, including providing feedback, observations, and submitting customer and store photos
- Maintain business communication with Area Manager via occasional phone calls, web meetings, and/or emails
ARE YOU A MATCH?
- Security clearance to gain base access is part of the process upon an offer of employment
- Previous sales, retail, and/or relevant customer service experience required
- Demonstrated knowledge and enthusiasm for consumer home electronics
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to lift 50 pounds independently or heavier weight with team lifting
- Access to reliable transportation to commute to local Military Base
- Access to internet and smart device for reporting and training
- Available to work required shifts
