Sales Representative/Cashier/Budtender

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Sales Associate/Cashier/Budtender to join our team in a NYS Recreational Retail Adult-Use Cannabis Dispensary. All Sales Associates must be 21 years old to work in the dispensary. All positions will start out as part-time positions but may turn into full-time positions as we expand. As a Cashier/Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, and promoting our products. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment. Our employees are responsible for providing the highest quality of service to customers at all times, as well as keeping our dispensary clean and organized, checking ID's, operating a cash register, and order fulfillment. They must make the customers feel welcomed and be personable, friendly, positive, knowledgeable, and professional during all interactions with customers and other guests, as well as perform all tasks as directed by management. At first we will be operating Wednesdays and Thursdays 4pm - 8pm, Fridays 2pm - 9pm, Saturdays 12pm - 9pm, Closed Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays.

Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the products they need
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Provide product information and demonstrate features through product demos
- Assist customers in making purchasing decisions by offering suggestions and recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Compliance with all NYS laws on this highly regulated product

Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills to ensure efficient handling of customer transactions
- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Ability to effectively sell products and upsell additional items
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Experience with cash registers or point-of-sale systems is desired
- Must be 21 years old as per NYS law
