Sales Representative:
Key functions include identifying and signing up new group accounts with a focus in the Christian University and Mentoring Group market segments. Expect to spend time prospecting, meeting with, and signing up groups to utilize the Connect App. In addition to procuring new accounts, you will also be responsible for managing and growing existing accounts. The ideal candidate is a self-starter that possesses a sales and technical background that enables you to drive engagement at all organizational levels. This position will be measured and rewarded for consistently delivering on revenue targets and contributing to achieving our strategic goals. Self-motivation and hunger to win will be key to your success.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential groups who would benefit from utilizing Connect, specifically in the Christian University and Mentoring market segments.
- Conduct thorough research to understand the group’s industry, needs, and pain points.
- Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves issues that may arise post-sale.
- Maintain communication with existing and previous customers, alerting them of new products, services, and enhancements that may be of interest.
- Maintain detailed reports of sales activities including calls, signed contracts, paid sales, lost business, and any customer relationship challenges.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business, and customer relationships.
- Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Analyze and forecast the territory/market’s potential, track sales, and status reports.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for improved products and services.
- Continuously improve through feedback

Requirements and Skills:
- Highly motivated and goal driven.

- Expert at follow through.
- Experience as a successful Sales Representative is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Familiarity with CRM practices
- Excellent selling, negotiation, and communication skills

- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business, or related field preferred
- Sales experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Prolonged periods of standing and interacting with prospects at conventions
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- Must be able to travel.
Compensation:
$35,000 Base Salary + commissions and bonuses when sales targets are reached creating a first year earning potential of $75,000 annually - with much room to grow in future years.
