Job Description
Blue Water Industries LLC, a growing Aggregate producer is currently hiring for a Sales Representative for the Murfreesboro, TN market. Blue Water Industries offers highly competitive compensation, a full benefits package & a company car.
Key Responsibilities:
- Call on and develop relationships with customers across the market to meet their aggregate needs
- Set annual sales goals specific to price, tonnage and revenue
- Input sales quotes & produce monthly sales reports
- Identify new customer opportunities
- Effectively communicate with operations to ensure plants are meeting customer needs and that proper inventory levels are sufficiently maintained
- Work closely with credit department regarding new accounts and accounts receivable
- Follow all safety rules/procedures and lead by example
Education and Experience
- Associates degree with 2 years of relevant aggregates or construction related sales experience
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Industry Knowledge – basic knowledge of how customers use our products (i.e. concrete, asphalt, construction etc.)
- Knowledge of aggregate operations, quality control, products, and dispatch
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must be proficient in using a computer
- Good time management skills and the ability to forecast sales
- Ability to read and understand financials
