Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Sales Recruiterto join our team. The ideal candidate will bring fresh ideas, add value through their unique insights, and demonstrate a strong drive to learn and grow.

Coordinates and manages the corporate staffing function within the Human Development Department. Responsibilities include interviewing candidates for exempt and non-exempt positions up to the managerial level, referring applicants to specific job openings, administering pre-employment tests, checking references, coordinating temporary staffing needs, conducting exit interviews, and overseeing related activities and compliance monitoring.

Position Details:

• Hourly position based upon experience & skill level
• Long-term contract with possible extension(s) or hire
• Standard support hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 am-5:00 pm CT (OT as necessary)

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinates recruiting efforts to obtain qualified Sales and Leadership Team Members, as required, including interviewing and scheduling arrangements with the requesting department management for exempt and non-exempt jobs up to the managerial level. Discusses requirements for various job vacancies with appropriate management. Interviews, screens and, where applicable, tests applicants. Refers qualified applicants to hiring supervisors for subsequent interview
• Prepares internal postings and/or external advertisements with hiring manager and advertising agency, as needed. Arranges for appropriate posting of job openings and schedules interviews for perspective internal candidates with requesting department management on a timely basis.
• Responds in an appropriate manner and on a timely basis to applications and inquiries for employment with the Company and to unsuccessful candidates for employment.
• Coordinates and arranges all necessary travel and lodging arrangements to insure the effective recruitment of perspective Team Members.
• Prepares offer letters for selected Team Member candidates. Extends job offer by confirming salary and benefit information, starting time and date, and any details agreed to relative to moving arrangements or any other accommodations to be made by the Company or perspective Team Member.
• Stays current with employment practices and techniques, local, state, and federal employment practice laws. Advises the Company management, makes recommendations, and implements approved plans so that compliance is maintained with appropriate Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action rules and regulations. Participates in ensuring company compliance with the Affirmative Action Plan.
• Other duties as assigned

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline desirable.

Experience:

• 4 years of Human Resources experience, including experience in interviewing, recruitment, and general employment activities.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales recruiting within the IT or telecom service sector, specifically for data centers and Global System Integrators (GSI).

Specialized Skills/Training:

• Proven success in screening and sourcing candidates for open opportunities
• Possesses headhunting skills: relationship building, networking, influencing, negotiation, proactive, & perseverance
• Knowledge of interviewing techniques, a basic knowledge of federal and state laws regarding employment practices, and a basic understanding of the Company's organizational structure as well as working knowledge of Team Member policies and procedures.
• Strong drive to learn and grow, with a proactive approach to professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and consider different points of view.
• Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Experience working within Applicant Tracking Systems
• Experience using job boards such as Indeed and LinkedIn
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
• Proven ability to work independently
• Takes initiative
