Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Proposal Administrator to join their team. This position is open to both full-time and part-time candidates, with the flexibility of a remote work environment. As a Proposal Administrator, you will play a crucial role in leading the preparation of winning proposals throughout the opportunity life cycle. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to coordinate and monitor all phases of the proposal project, ensuring the development of high-quality proposal deliverables. This role offers the flexibility of either a full-time or part-time schedule, working Monday to Friday for 8 or 5/6 hours a day. Responsibilities:
- Lead the coordination and monitoring of all phases of the proposal project, from pre-proposal preparation to development, in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate diverse groups of proposal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Manage proposal schedules and deadlines to ensure timely submission of high-quality proposals.
- Develop high-quality proposal deliverables, including response questionnaires, annotated outlines, compliance matrices, proposal management plans, and some content creation.
- Analyze and develop responses to the organization's request for proposals (RFPs) for both renewing and new business opportunities.
- Ensure proposals are clear, concise, and compliant with RFP requirements.
Skills/Experience:
- Collaborates effectively across teams to lead the proposal project and manages the successful development of a high-impact proposal, focused on customer needs.
- Collaborates with Sales and other stakeholders to create compliant, competitive, persuasive, and compelling proposals.
- Creates the proposal management plan and monitors all phases of the proposal project from pre-proposal preparation to development to ensure on-time delivery.
- Analyzes the RFP/bid requirements to ensure both compliance and responsiveness to the customer's needs.
- Writes original content and works with stakeholders to determine key messages (e.g., value proposition, win themes, and other key differentiators).
- Coordinates reviews, provides comments, and facilitates discussion among stakeholders to resolve information discrepancies and secure final approval of proposal documents.
- Engages in non-proposal writing projects as requested.
