Therabody is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical Sales Operations Manager. You will directly manage our Sales Operations team. You will need to be an organized leader who can support our Sales Ops team members, analyze available inventory for open order needs, and ensure orders are shipped on time. This is a great opportunity to help implement and maximize efficiencies within our Sales organization and work with team members across all areas of the business. On a daily basis you will work with Sales, Sales Operations, Supply Chain, Accounting, and our 3PL partners. Therabody has a customer base across many verticals from Big-Box Retailers to Gyms and Golf Pro shops. This role is critical to ensuring success in every part of our organization and we need your help as we are growing!
Key Responsibilities
- Directly manage our Sales Operations Associates team; provide coaching and help them problem-solve daily issues
- Monitor the open order book on a daily basis
- Analyze the open orders and requested ship dates against available inventory; coordinate with logistics teams as well as Demand Planners and Inventory Managers to execute
- Make informed decisions on whether to short ship, cancel, or change ship windows on orders based on a variety of factors
- Work with our 3PL partners on open orders to ensure they are routing orders and processing on-time and following complex customer requirements
- Handle special orders for VIPs and our Executive team
- Provide solutions and support for handling escalated customer situations
- Own End-of-Month reporting to assess risk on any open orders that may not ship for the month
- Continuously work to optimize processes - if something is currently manual, find ways to implement automatic processes
The Right Person Would Have
- 4+ years of experience in Sales Operations, including working with Big-Box retailers such as Target, Walmart, and Department Stores
- 1+ years of managerial experience
- Experience in an operations or logistics focused role; experience with routing guides is a plus
- Experience working with an ERP system, preferably Netsuite
- Experience working with EDI, preferably SPS Commerce
- Strong Excel skills; ability to create pivot tables and write formulas is a must
- Excellent follow-up and time management skills
- Outstanding organizational skills with keen attention to details
- An analytical approach to problem solving
- Proactive self-starter that is creative and flexible with a can-do attitude
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective interactions with all levels within the company. You will talk directly with warehouse personnel as well as our executive team
