Visiting Angels is looking to grow our team. This role will be responsible for leading all sales/marketing initiatives to grow our client and caregiver base. This involves developing, implementing, and executing a strategic marketing plan in order to promote Visiting Angels to potential clients and referral sources.
Visiting Angels provides non-medical, living assistance services to our clients in their homes. This role will help to market our services within the community to gain additional referrals and build our referral sources. This role would also be hands-on in order to recruit Caregivers to support those clients. This would include reaching out to referral sources within the community, attending recruitment events and job fairs, assisting with phone and in-person interviews, etc.
The duties and responsibilities described below do not represent a comprehensive list for this position. Additional tasks may be assigned periodically as necessitated by business demands.
  • Stays informed about the market, industry trends, and the competitive landscape, while helping strategize and implement marketing, branding, and advertising plans.
  • Establish contacts and communicate regularly with those target audiences.
  • Organize and attend events beneficial for building referral sources.
  • Evaluate marketing ideas and campaigns for effectiveness.
  • Conduct market research to ensure we are competitive with rates/pricing.
  • Source Caregiver candidates within the community by building relationships with referral sources
  • Create marketing and advertising strategies, plans, and objectives.
  • Conduct presentations in the community
  • Works with the Director of Operations to ensure that the print and online presence of the company is up-to-date and effective.
  • Reports marketing data, market trends, forecasts, and potential new referral sources during weekly staff meetings.
  • Work collaboratively with key team members to understand recruitment needs and existing recruitment market environment.
  • Understand major competitors, wage and benefit offerings, and use that knowledge to differentiate business as the employer of choice.
  • Maintain professionalism and serve as a strong representative to uphold the business brand, reputation and culture.
  • Actively source quality caregiver candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare-related schools and colleges, local community businesses, faith-based establishments, and other pertinent recruitment sources.
  • Develop and maintain an online recruiting presence. Use a diverse mix of recruiting tools and websites.
  • Use and/or enhance social media venues such as Facebook to promote recruitment and marketing.
  • Plan and conduct job fairs internally and participate in community job fairs.
  • Evaluate and consider local advertising (real estate signage, banners, local publications, etc.) as well as recruitment campaigns to accelerate and promote caring careers.
  • Participate with key Visiting Angels team members in the development of retention programs particularly focused on the transitional period of employment.
  • Utilize company resources to ensure an appropriate return on investment on pertinent recruitment initiatives.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients and client's families.

Applicants must have:
  • Valid driver's license and car insurance.
  • Degree in Business, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience with public speaking with demonstrated presentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) applications, scheduling systems and other healthcare industry-related software.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well with a team.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Ability to form relationships and maintain rapport with community resources.
  • Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently and diplomatically - both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor in all situations.
  • Present a well-groomed image that reflects the professionalism of the business.
  • Ability to plan, organize, prioritize, delegate and accurately complete work activities within deadlines while managing interruptions.
  • Work independently with minimal direction and/or supervision.
  • Ability to generate goodwill for Agency with clients, their family members and referral sources. Demonstrate a strong commitment to client service excellence.
  • Ability to lawfully work in the U.S.
  • Home care recruiting or elder care recruiting experience preferred.
  • Due to the number of facilities we visit for marketing/assessments that require healthcare partners to be vaccinated (and client's homes that request only vaccinated workers), the COVID-19 Vaccine is required for this role as we work with a vulnerable population.

This position would be to help increase both the applicant and potential client flow as well.
