We are looking for a highly skilled and industry experienced Sales & Marketing Director to join our rapidly growing company. The Sales & Marketing Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organizations sales and marketing policies, objectives, and initiatives. This includes developing strategies to increase revenue, training and managing the day-to-day activities of sales and marketing staff and ensuring that the organization meets its goals in this area.
The Sales & Marketing Director may also be involved in other areas of the business as well. They may help develop overall company strategy or act as an advisor to senior management on issues such as product development or customer service.
Job Duties:
· Develop and execute short- and long-term marketing strategies to meet quarter/annual sales targets
· Ensure that all sales related activities support customer satisfaction, retention and new business development goals
· Generate new business while also increasing customer loyalty by cultivating long-term relationships
· Prepare accurate and complete sales reports documenting marketing budgets, current market share, direct sales, and outline marketing plans
· Lead the development of the sales and marketing department by developing procedures, processes, recruiting, training and managing entire team
- Direct the creation and carry out execution of global go-to-market strategies for all products
- Develop, implement, and manage advertising plan and strategy, including creative and scheduling for all advertising programs
- Strategize and coordinate annual marketing/promo calendar (including media buys, product launches, online and all related campaigns)
- Spearhead all events, promotional planning, and communication
· Assist product development team to ensure projects are being completed, on time and within budget.
· Evaluate market trends regularly to determine pricing, competition and supply and demand
· Plan meetings and trade shows by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating mailing lists
· Travel to and attend trade shows, events, or meetings as necessary
Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree or equivalent
· Strong understanding of the powersports industry, market and lifestyle
· Proven ability to drive the sales and marketing process from plan to close
· Excellent leadership and organizing skills
· Analytical and problem solving skills
· Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Must be a team player, willing to assist in other areas such as logistics and inside service.
· Excellent with Microsoft software (Excel, Word, Outlook, Powerpoint)
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Employment Type:
· Full-time, hourly, available 8am-5pm, Mon.-Fri.
· Pay DOE
· Bi-weekly payday (every other Friday)
