Job Summary: Made Right Metal Buildings and Roof Mart is seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a strong background in sales leadership and a proven track record in prospecting and acquiring new accounts. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts by overseeing a team of sales representatives while actively identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales representatives to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies, tactics, and KPIs to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews to track progress and provide guidance to the sales team.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Account Prospecting:
- Research and identify potential clients and markets to expand our customer base.
- Initiate and manage prospecting campaigns to generate leads and qualify potential accounts.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline by proactively reaching out to prospects through various channels, including cold calls, emails, and networking events.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand the client's requirements and tailor proposals accordingly.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Act as a primary point of contact for key accounts, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their long-term goals and develop tailored solutions that align with Made Right Metal Buildings' offerings.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, leads, and client interactions using CRM software.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to make informed decisions and adjustments to sales strategies.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management to assess progress and make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience with launchingnew products or entering into new markets.
- Proven experience in sales leadership and account prospecting, preferably in the construction, metal roofing or metal building industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software, and MS Office suite.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
