POSITION PROFILE

  • The Intern will be part of a national Ricoh USA internship program and gain hands-on work experience by participating in work projects in the focus areas of Ricoh's Dealer Channel Team.
  • They will have an excellent opportunity to assist in impactful sales and marketing projects while learning in a professional environment.
  • It will be a virtual, do from anywhere, internship. We provide a laptop and the tools needed, the intern just needs Wi-Fi and a quiet place to work.
  • We will have four interns in the role, so there will be team approach with peers to work with. And we're part of the national Ricoh program which provides additional learning and opportunities to interact with interns in multiple business functions across the country.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The intern will serve in the role of a lead development representative (LDR). Their overall objective is to take a Marketing Qualified-Lead and progress to a Sales-Qualified Lead that can then be transferred to a field sales professional.
  • The LDR responsibilities/process are as follows:
  • Utilize Marketing Department generated prospect lists. From the lists, research target organizations and potential decision makers.
  • Connect on LinkedIn and provide content for the prospect to review. Ricoh's approach is to solve customer business challenges related to digital transformation and information/document management.
  • Utilize phone scripts to follow-up with the prospect and gauge/build interest. As alternative, create brief videos to send to the prospect.
  • Keep records of communication and progress to transfer lead to specific account manager who will be responsible for ongoing relationship (and sales).
  • With intern team members, plan and hold virtual customer events as additional means of sharing Ricoh information. For example, interns last summer held a virtual coffee break that focused to sustainability.
  • Researches, provides analysis, and offers solutions relating to the demand generation projects.
  • May perform a variety of tasks at the direction of the management team.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Student must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Students should be pursuing a degree in a related major in the department of interest and posses some former work or internship experience
  • Students must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Students are to successfully complete all required screenings prior to hire
