About the Role:
We are on the lookout for a dynamic Sales Estimator who thrives in managing intricate bid processes, excels in strategic negotiations, and has a knack for precision in cost estimation for a diverse range of prestressed Precast Concrete projects. This role is not just about numbers; it's about building relationships, fostering trust, and driving our company's growth through strategic bids and estimates.
What You Will Do:
- Be the maestro of our bid calendar, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our sales team to meet project timelines.
- Keep your finger on the pulse of high-priority projects, providing timely follow-ups and updates.
- Join forces with our CEO to negotiate project buyouts, blending strategy with insight.
- Dive deep into bid documents and RFPs to deliver pinpoint accurate cost estimates that drive our competitive edge.
- Craft detailed bid estimates, proposals, and takeoffs, turning data into compelling bids.
- Design simple architectural CAD drawings that not only estimate costs but also win hearts in sales presentations.
- Be the guardian of our project data, ensuring meticulous organization across our digital platforms.
- Seamlessly transition estimating data to our project management and engineering teams, setting the stage for successful project execution.
- Lead and inspire our sales support team, ensuring every customer interaction is an opportunity to excel.
- Foster and deepen client relationships through regular engagement, job site visits, and a genuine commitment to their success.
- Become an ambassador of our Precast Concrete products, understanding every beam, column, and panel like the back of your hand.
- Participate actively in project kick-off meetings, contributing to the smooth execution of projects from start to finish.
Who We Are Looking For:
- A seasoned professional with 3-5 years in civil/general construction or Precast Concrete, ready to take their career to new heights.
- An educational background in building construction or a related field is preferred, but your hands-on experience counts just as much.
- A technical maestro with a proven track record in reading blueprints and a deep understanding of Precast Concrete products.
- A software savvy individual with proficiency in MS Office, Bluebeam, and AutoCAD, turning data into decisions.
- An adept multitasker who thrives under pressure and meets deadlines not just on time, but with excellence.
