Sales Engineer (Remote Eligible)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs system and network modeling, data analysis and planning to design a solution that will meet the client’s business needs within financial budget guidelines.
• Research software and hardware products or services and find the best solutions to meet the client’s business requirements.
• Works with the client to contribute to the improvement of business processes, testing systems to ensure functionality is satisfactory while recommending new systems or product upgrades.
• Presents and translates the design to customers to ensure the design will meet the client requirements.
• Generation of “Statement of Work” documents that follows Company guidelines.
• Assist with the development of internal business processes to improve sales and product delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of the company products and services to effectively add value to new and existing customers.
• Demonstrate commitment to providing outstanding internal and external customer service.
• Stay current on information technology trends specific to Aureon target customer base and products to better meet the needs of our clients.
• Demonstrate ability to work independently as well as work effectively in a team environment.
• Assume additional duties as defined by supervisor and executive management.
• Assisting Sales in answering questions about the Company’s products and solutions.
• Able to create an IT roadmap for small to mid-size clients.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information management systems and 4-6+ years related experience in Managed IT, Telecommunications, Solution Engineering or equivalent combination of education
• Experience with designing or managing hosting/infrastructure (Cloud) resources, physical server/storage
• environments, virtualized IT and LAN/WAN network design for mid-size businesses.
• Extensive experience with Windows server and desktop operating systems.

TOOLS, EQUIPMENT, AND SOFTWARE:

• Effective problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong PC skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Primarily indoor work primarily in office environment
• Frequent utilization of manual dexterity and visualizing of computer screen
• No unusual physical requirements
