Job description

As a member of the Sales Support Engineering Team, this entry-level position is a vital participant in a bold strategic initiative aiming to reimagine a broad suite of enterprise-level applications. The Associate Sales Support Engineer will serve as a supportive resource bridging our business development and engineering teams. This role is focused on assisting with product-related technical queries, managing client case work tickets in Salesforce, and responding to Information Security Questionnaires using Responsive. Candidates are expected to interface directly with technical leads, software architects, clients, and key stakeholders, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Tasks:
  • Efficiently manage the team's shared inbox, ensuring all incoming requests are promptly triaged and prioritized.
  • Take charge of staging requests or cases in Salesforce, facilitating the smooth assignment of cases to the appropriate team members.
  • Streamline the intake process for incoming requests, ensuring thorough documentation and organization for swift and effective resolution.
  • Assist in engagements with potential clients by supporting the technical team during sales activities.
  • Manage client case work tickets in Salesforce, keeping records organized and up-to-date.
  • Respond to Information Security Questionnaires using Responsive, coordinating with internal teams to gather necessary information.
  • Interact with clients and sales representatives to gain firsthand familiarity with client needs and determine the extent our services support their requirements.
  • Provide support to the sales staff in pre- and post-sales efforts by participating in the RFP/RFQ process.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or Cybersecurity, or equivalent related work experience. One or more years of practical Sales Support experience, preferably in the Fintech sector or similar.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, knowledge of specialized or technical terminology related to the assigned product line is essential. An eagerness to learn complicated software platforms independently is desirable, as is the ability to leverage advanced functions of office and productivity tools.
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid driver's license required.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
  • Standard indoor working environment.
  • Occasional long periods of sitting while working at a computer.
  • Position requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the firm as well as interaction with external vendors and clients as necessary.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Independent travel requirement: up to 10%.

* For Denver, CO-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is
$66,000 - $78,000.
* For New York, NY-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is
$72,000-$86,000.
* For Bellevue, WA- based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is
$69,000-$83,000.
* For Carlsbad, Glendale, Irvine, Los Angelos, Sacramento, and San Diego, CA-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $69,000-$83,000.
* For Oakland and San Jose, CA-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $72,000-$86,000.
