Role Summary
Support the sales function by establishing pre-sales processes and tools qualifying high quality B2B leads for the sales team. Manage and respond to the sales support requests and indirectly contribute to the top-line growth for the organization through product demonstrations, documentation and proposal and collateral support.
Business Function
The Sales Enablement team in the U.S. has the objective of partnering with the sales community to increase win rates by providing a strategic approach to successful bidding. We are focused on wining new business and retaining and growing existing client relationships through the development of solutions which showcase our competitive advantage.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Continue to enhance our creativity in solving customer challenges with our solutions through participating in and overseeing the workload, assignment and responsible for quality output from the Sales Enablement team covering:
- Content writing for targeted outreach
- Bid strategy
- Proactive proposals
- Presentations and site visit collateral
- Library management
- Develop compelling propositions
- Post-mortem reviews
- Coordination of information from the business to the sales team
- Work with analytics team to improve lead qualification processes, data inputs
- Work closely with sales team in proposal development by establishing the requirements, managing the workflow, and delivering the results to the sales team/client on time to agreed-upon quality standards
- Demonstrate ability to understand and articulate client environment and manage and drive domain and solution related discussions and support sales and accounts teams in responding to general client queries about solutions and capabilities
This position will drive for an increase in tools for the Sales Enablement team and sales community, make our bids more competitive in the market while creating and bringing to life process and quality improvements. This will be completed through:
- Manage the Lead Generation Team
- Serve as a point of contact for all sales community requests: bids, proposals, RFPs, PPT presentations, etc.
- Evaluate and establish bid scope and requirements while communicating back to the sales community and the Sales Enablement team
- Manage the pre-sales process from lead qualification to successful bid acceptance
- Ensure the sales enablement program is delivering a high win rate and meeting both in-year-revenue and long-term objectives
- Participates in internal post-mortem reviews for bids won and lost
Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following experience, skills and behaviours:
- Exemplary leadership skills in a professional environment
- Experienced B2B writer in either marketing, proposals, RFP responses or related field
Education Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of pre-sales or sales enablement experience
- Excellent project management/traffic skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office, with demonstrated capability in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
