That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Sales Development Representative (SDR) to qualify and progress potential clients through the sales pipeline who could benefit from our products and services. As the first line of communication with a prospect, you will have a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at researching leads, cultivating new relationships, and setting up your business developer for success. You are a quick learner with strong communication skills and an ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential client is an opportunity for boosting top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.
In this role you will:
- Proactively develop opportunities for the sales team from prospecting, marketing generated leads, and leads sourced from within the firm
- Research potential clients, identify decision makers, educate prospects, and qualify buying interest and sense of urgency
- Utilize our CRM to manage all information on leads and to communicate with prospect information with the sales team
- Work with assigned Partners/Business Developers to develop go-to-market strategy and build sales pipeline as well as improve performance and processes
- Communicate with prospects via mix of cold calls, warm leads, emails & LinkedIn to develop interest in firm products and services
- Work with marketing to utilize literature, campaigns, provide feedback, and various initiatives to aid with lead development
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
- Stay current on product information, marketing materials, and vendor campaigns
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Stay up-to-date on market trends, competition, and industry developments
- Attend networking events and trade shows to build relationships and generate leads
- Provide regular reports on sales activities and results to management.
What you bring to the role:
- Engaging and conversational approach with excellent listening and communication skills - written and verbal
- A minimum of 3 years of experience selling software solutions (Sage Intaact and Microsoft preferred)
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with potential clients
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software and sales enablement tools; documenting all outreach and prospecting activities in a CRM tool
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment while also working independently
- A creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills (understanding the business priorities and customer needs)
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field

The hiring range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000. Final offers will consider experience, location, and budget.
