Carilion Clinic's Institute for Leadership Effectiveness is seeking a Leadership Development Specialist to support the team in developing and consulting people-leaders at Carilion Clinic.
The Leadership Development Specialist will:
" Support the onboarding, education, and development of new mid-level physician, clinical, and non-clinical leaders
" Conduct DISC and Motivators debriefs with new leaders
" Partner with ILE Coaches and Consultants on custom Leadership Development projects
" Curate, facilitate, or produce manager/leader development content in alignment with Carilion Clinic's Leadership Competencies
" Track and measure impact of projects
" Coordinate and manage Carilion Clinic's mentor program
Required Qualifications
" 1-3 years people development, education, or facilitation experience
" Knowledge of both virtual and in person training and education context
" Detailed knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams
" Excellent writing and communication skills
" Detail oriented, professional, proactive
Preferred Additional Qualifications
" Certification in DISC, Motivators, or other leadership assessment tools
" Experience working with individuals on professional success
" Healthcare industry experience
" Experience with Mail Chimp, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
What We Require:
Education: Bachelor's degree in HR, Learning, Education, Business, Communications or related field or 8 years equivalent experience.
Experience: One to three years of experience in project coordination or people development role. Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Office Products and website content management system is required.
Licensure/Certification: None required.
Other Minimum Qualifications: Ability to work without direct supervision; excellent customer service, communication and organizational skills.
