JOB TITLE: SALES DEMAND PLANNING ASSOCIATE
Job Summary: The Sales Demand Planning Associate is a regular full-time, hourly non-exempt entry level position that serves in an ERP order management and systems data analysis role. This position is responsible for reviewing data from ERP systems reporting and updating the rolling Sales Demand forecast. The Sales Demand Planning Associate will report directly to the Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
This position is based out of Terrapin Beer Company's headquarters in Athens, Georgia and is required to work on-site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review and update the system provided demand forecast and assumptions monthly by product family for Sales and Operations planning.
- Provide updates of demand forecast information, including ongoing analysis and interpretation of data to designated departments and external users.
- Update and disseminate regular inventory and sales reports to both internal Sales team and external users.
- Audit the ERP order management system for order duplicates and to ensure accuracy in data inputs.
- Under the direction of the Vice President Sales & Marketing, work independently conducting deep-dives on variances to the demand forecast to uncover root-cause issues/opportunities.
- Work with product development leaders and Sales & Marketing teams to develop demand forecasts.
- Work with the Operations Supply Chain team in the development of monthly production volume planning using the demand forecast, inventory status, actual customer orders and brewery production volume constraints.
- Continually update reports, score cards and visual dashboards to meet business needs.
- Assists Senior Management and other organizational personnel as necessary with ad hoc request for reporting or sales analyses.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
This position is an entry-level position requiring a 2-year degree in Marketing, Business, Management or similar degree program with 1-3 years of direct experience.
Must be self-motivated, have excellent written skills, verbal communication, and strong leadership skills. This position also requires excellent time management skills and attention to detail as well as very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Candidates must have advanced knowledge in MS Office software including Excel and PowerPoint. Previous experience working with Orchestrated Beer ERP software is preferred.
Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, stamina to maintain attention to detail despite interruptions, strength to lift and carry files weighing up to 10 pounds, vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and hearing and speech to communicate in person and over the telephone.
Must be able to work 8-10 hours shifts and be able to work varying shifts, including weekends, dependent on operational business needs of the brewery.
