Overview:
Aramark Uniform Services is looking for an experienced Planning Applications leader to design, develop, implement, and support their Global Sourcing Organization. This individual will play a critical role across the Global Sourcing organization as we reset our technical strategy. You will be a forward-thinking technology leader with a keen business sense and experience in building Demand planning platforms and solution. You will partner with platform peers and business leaders to craft the digital systems of the future.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Spearhead transformational ERP implementation projects in all phases: as-is study, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, to-be process, customizations design, CRPs, UAT, cutover, and post-production support
- Responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of Oracle ERP Cloud Demand Supply planning environment and will work with developers, business analysts, quality assurance specialists, etc., and various teams to ensure that their products meet end-user needs and expectations.
- Responsible for managing business-critical applications with a team of diverse professionals with a common understanding across the modules, as well as ensuring a global view of business operations
- Participate in the preparation of work plans, and advises on implementation strategies in the area of specialization
- Forecast resource needs and team skill mix to meet anticipated demand
- End User Support for Oracle planning products including knowledge management and issue/bug analysis.
- Responsible for hiring, on-boarding, continuous training and development of the team members.
- Responsible for performance management of the team.
- Write and deliver performance evaluations.
- Work with Human Resources when performance issues arise.
- Make recommendations for salary planning, promotions, and/or job changes.
- This role will have two direct reports and will report to the Director of Information Techology.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Expertise in Plan to Produce, Demand and Supply Planning, S&OP, Procure to Pay & Order to Cash process flows
- Domain expertise in Manufacturing and Supply Chain with a good understanding of industry best practices
- Leadership and management skills including effective delivery of results, consultative skills, team development skills
- The ability to effectively manage others through influence, as well as with direct authority
- Identify and apply innovative approaches to design & architect a user-friendly, cost-effective, value-added business solution
- Develop new or enhanced methods and techniques to implement, and resolve product line problems and offer options, alternatives, outcomes, and possible implications of various courses of action
- Planning Functional expertise, consults and gathers business requirements, determines the overall project scope and users’ expectations
- Thorough with various software lifecycles including Agile and Waterfall or industry best practices
- Ability to collaborate with users/ business leads, and sub-ordinates to develop, test, and implement business solutions
- Work independently with users to deliver solutions using Oracle Applications
- Adjusts to changes in priorities and manages time and progress effectively
- Takes initiative to achieve value-added results, within the scope of responsibility
- MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
- Strong presentation and communication skills required
Working Environment/Safety Requirements:
- Office environment in Lawrenceville, Georgia
- Travel: 10%
- No special physical requirements for this position
Experience/Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in managing Demand & Supply Planning applications
- 5 - 7 years of managerial experience, desired
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience to include the direct supervision of a professional staff
