Form of workNew Way Ford Lincoln Sales ConsultantCoon Rapids, Iowa JOB DESCRIPTION This position reports to the Sales Manager and is responsible for successfully meeting sales goals while providing exceptional customer service. Position is located in Coon Rapids, IA. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Sell both new and used cars as well as finance and related product.
Sell and promote Finance, Insurance products and Paint Protection. Demonstrate vehicles to customers, including taking them for drives. Report to the vehicle Sales Manager on activities, reviews and analyses.
Meet customers face to face and holding sales discussions with them. Negotiate the terms of a sales agreement and closing sales. Deliver new and used vehicles to customers.
Show the customer the vehicle's operating features, warranty and paperwork. Follow up in-bound telephone inquiries, walk in prospects and emails inquiries. Arranging appointments via Internet Leads.
Preparing car purchase packages. Cold calling up qualified sales prospects. Liaising with the showroom body shop to ensure that vehicle repairs are carried out quickly.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES An ability to achieve and exceed targets. Able to work as part of a busy sales team. Ability to build a rapport with a wide range of people.
Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines on multiple assignments. Previous related retail experience. Process skills with a proven ability to prioritize and manage individual workload in a high-pressure environment and to demonstrate a sense of urgency as necessary to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster effective business relationships with internal and external parties.
Team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate planning and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to effectively identify and develop solutions for business needs.
Good verbal communication and technical skills with an ability to effectively interact with and convey information to people who possess varying levels of understanding on applicable topics.
