JOB SUMMARY:
- Living Well Down East is a dynamic, fast-growing natural & organic market located in downtown New Bern. Customers love our carefully curated selection of high-quality supplements, groceries and health & beauty products. Living Well is committed to serving our community and going the extra mile to make our store a relaxing and enjoyable place to shop and work. We are excited to expand our talented staff of Sales Clerks. All team members share responsibilities and help each other in the daily duties which include: customer service, making sure the store is clean and organized, pricing and checking inventory of merchandise, merchandising inventory and building displays, receiving orders and operating the cash register, making nut butters, assisting with special projects such as entering vendor contests and making signs. Our staff enjoys getting to know our clientele and aims to assist them with selection of products. Team members who work an average of 25 hours a week receive a 20% store discount, as well as free products. • Greet customers, provide them with our sales sheet, and assist them in finding products

• Manage the cash register

• Help receive inventory and ensure accuracy of inventory

• Perform stocking duties such as lifting, rotating products, blocking, and dusting

• Supervise cleanliness and maintenance duties around store

• Help create signs for products, either online or artistically by hand

• Process special orders for customers

• Answer phone

• Check expiration dates

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
