Publix Super Markets, the largest employee-owned company in the U.S., is looking for experienced Meat Cutters / Seafood Specialist for your Publixat Cambridge Village!

Requirements:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly, courteous, prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and do simple math problems.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Experience in the food service industry and with food preparation is preferred.

Job Description:

• Provides premier customer service, including greeting customers and answering their questions.
• Works in cold temperatures frequently.
• Fills pre-packaged lunch Meat and cheese cases, as well as frozen meat section and Meat and Seafood display cases.
• Rotates product within date and properly displays it.
• Sells products by providing customers with information needed to make product-related decisions.
• Verifies ad prices, hangs current sale signs, and removes out-of-date sale signs.
• Unloads trucks and verifies deliveries.
• Performs routine price changes.
• Cleans, sweeps and mops the sales area and meat walk in coolers and freezers.
• Sets up displays.
• Complies with sanitation and safety guidelines.
• Operates pallet jack, scissor lift, baler, wrapper and compactor.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
