Job Overview:
CityThrift Sales Associates Responsible for operating the Point of Sales register, assisting customers, stocking and maintaining inventory of merchandise, and assisting in maintaining the store in a clean and orderly manner. Provides a high level of customer service to store customers, working to ensure a positive purchasing experience. Must present a positive, professional image.
Job Requirements:
- HS diploma or Equivalent
- 1 year work in retail environment with sales register experience
- Ability to operate Point of Sale system software, and receive and disperse cash accurately
- Demonstrated, excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse populations
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to read and perform simple mathematical functions at the high school level
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and be flexible in multi-duty environment
