Our client, who has multiple clubs in Fairfield County, is seeking a Temp-to-Perm Marketing Manager.
This role is remote, but you will train in the Darien location.

About the Position
The Sales and Marketing position plays a critical role in the facility. This employee is among the first people our customers interact with, whether on the phone or in person.

We are recognized as one of the industry`s leaders in tennis instruction and programming. We have many achievements under our belt, and it will be the role of the Sales and Marketing Manager to "tell our story."
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Update and maintain the company website and social media platforms.
- Create consistent and compelling e-mail campaigns and Marketing collateral.
- Develop partnerships with other companies to cross-promote our businesses and maintain those relationships.
- Analyze and report on marketing strategies.
- Speak with customers by telephone, email, or in person to provide information about products or services, take registrations, or obtain details of complaints.
- Keep records of customer interactions or transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, or comments and actions taken.
- Manage new and prospective customers by following up and selling our marketing strategies to them.
- Manage our client database using our system and Constant Contact.
- Work on or with our front desk and be able to complete the entire list of front desk duties, including all sales aspects as well as financial transactions.
- Engage with customers and parents in the lobby to educate and follow up with them.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree.
- 1-2 years of experience working in an office setting (internships included).
- Must have outstanding customer service skills, excellent phone manners, and good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly adept with computers and technology, including (but not limited to):
• Proficiency on Mac and PC platforms
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel a must)
• Apple iWork (not a must, but preferred)
• Adobe Photoshop
• Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)
• E-mail marketing platforms (i.e., Constant Contact) - Must be highly organized, careful, accurate, patient, socially poised, and mature.
- Experience in the tennis industry a plus but not required.
- Comfortable with extensive public contact.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced business.
- Work well as part of a team.
- Flexible and willing to wear many hats.
- Quick learner, responsive, and high energy.
- Shifts during the week and weekends.
