Our Sales and Catering Coordinator supports the managers on the Sales and Catering team. They keep the managers and their respective departments organized by providing updated information on groups through Banquet Event Orders and great verbal communication. They are the first impression when potential and current clients visit the Sales, Events and Executive Office. This position also assists other departments with their technical and hospitality skills. Greeting and assist visitors, answer incoming calls to the Sales Offices.
ORGANIZATION skills are a MUST!
· Prepare all monthly Sales and Catering reports, including but not limited to, SMARTS reports, revenue management, booking analysis and incentive calculation reports for individual and team production, submitting accurate reports in a timely manner.
· Manage and administrate the Sales database and group sales backlog to ensure data integrity for accurate reporting, including maintenance of security of confidential material stored in the database.
· Produce group reports used in the creation of the Strategic Sales Plan and assist in the analysis of these reports to determine appropriate Sales and Catering production goals.
· Manage all interfaces relating to the Sales and Catering Systems, including but limited to, PMS interface.
· Receive visitors and guests. Answer questions and concerns, follow up to resolution or refer concerns to the appropriate manager.
· Perform clerical duties such as typing correspondence and report filing.
· Maintain and upkeep filing system including vendor information where necessary.
· Assure all incoming and outgoing correspondence is typed, received, mailed and/or filed as required.
· Assist managers in scheduling appointments, meetings and travel arrangements for business trips as required.
· Maintain a professional working environment and attitude.
· Maintain and upkeep of all office equipment.
· Make VIP reservations and trace arrivals as requested.
· Maintain inventory of office supplies and place orders.
· Coordinate department meeting agendas as requested.
· Assist Sales Department with BEO’s and other administrative meeting arrangements as needed.
· Provide additional administrative assistance as directed.
Qualification Standards
· Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Publisher.
· Must possess basic computational ability.
· Strong sense of customer service.
· Previous CI/TY experience preferred.
· Must have excellent interpersonal and sales-related skills.
· Excellent organizational skills.
· Must be able to prioritize multiple demands.
· Must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.
· Must be able to sit at desk for up to 8 hours per day. Walking and standing are occasionally required. Length of time for these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
· Must be able to bend, stoop and stretch to fulfill some tasks.
· Regular attendance in conformance with our standards is required.
· Must be able to work a flexible shift schedule to include weekdays, weekends, AM, PM

Pay: $21.50 - $22.00 per hour
