```Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Manager to join our team. As the Safety Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Your role will be crucial in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.
Duties:
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures
- Provide safety training to employees on topics such as OSHA regulations, first aid, CPR, and emergency response
- Collaborate with management to develop emergency response plans and conduct drills
- Monitor compliance with safety policies and procedures through regular audits
- Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions
- Stay up-to-date with changes in safety regulations and industry best practices
- Develop and deliver safety-related presentations to management and employees
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA guidelines, and workers compensation laws
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify potential hazards and recommend solutions
- Excellent report writing skills to document inspections, incidents, and training sessions
- Certification in CPR, First Aid, or other relevant emergency response training
- Experience in developing training programs related to safety awareness and compliance
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Spanish speaking required.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
