QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 5 years experience in the role of Safety/Risk Manager
- Certifications include OSHA 500 with ability to teach OSHA 10 & OSHA 30 construction
- CPR/First Aid instructor
- Approved traffic control trainer
- Technical trainer for Operator Qualifications (OQ) a plus
- Familiarity with ISN Network and Common Ground Alliance a plus
- Bilingual skills a plus
- Working knowledge of California environmental compliance programs (CERS)
- Working knowledge of CARBS
- OSHA log reporting
- Claim Management work comp, auto, general liability, utility
- Manage random testing pool for FMCSA drivers
- Bi-Annual D.O.T bit audits all locations
- Must be drug free, team player, motivator, and leader.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE:
- Administer company safety incentive program
- Preside over quarterly safety committee meetings
- Submit all required OSHA reports for the company
- Manage all safety related incidents and manage claims until resolved
- Maintain certification tracking system for all employees
- Perform/manage all required training sessions for workforce
- Manage all worker compensation claims, minimizing downtime for the employee and costs to the company
- Manage company driver safety program
- Perform/schedule daily site inspections
- Schedule/perform new employee safety orientations
- Maintain company safety program ensuring compliance at all times
