Safety Coordinator
Location: Lebanon, OR (Relocation within 40 miles is required)
Schedule: Monday-Friday (onsite)
Position Summary:You will be part of a team whose sole purpose is to help people get home safe every day. This will require you to be passionate about safety, collaborative in spirit, willing to grow, and dedicated to providing high quality work. You will provide comprehensive support for safety program implementation. This includes training, policy implementation, and safety metric tracking. You will be responsible for identifying and assessing health and safety hazards within the facilities and work closely with internal departments to mitigate these hazards. You'll also conduct safety audits, equipment inspections, and monitor ENTEK and regulatory compliance, all while offering general administrative support and taking on additional responsibilities as directed by management.
Essential Functions:
- Inspect work environments to ensure safety rules are being followed and safety equipment, such as fire suppression systems and portable fire extinguishers, eye wash stations, AEDs, and fall protection systems, is in proper working order.
- Respond to workplace injuries and incidents and assist in the investigation(s) thereof.
- Help direct safety operations in the event of an incident.
- Verify the availability and monitor the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), such as eye protection, hearing protection, respirators, gloves, and safety footwear.
- Maintain accurate training records, verifying completion by all relevant parties.
- Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and prepare accurate secondary container labels.
- Assist in conducting health and safety training programs and training workers in safety procedures for required job tasks.
- Assist in scheduling recurring and incidental trainings, testing, and consultations from outside vendors with internal teams.
- Maintain medical facility records and inventory of medical supplies or equipment, and prepare such supplies or equipment for use.
- Assist in maintaining all required safety records and documentation.
- Assist in planning emergency response drills.
- Assist with safety committee management and administration.
- Advise employees regarding health or safety issues.

Experience and Skills
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate's Degree in occupational health and safety or 2+ years of related experience
- Intermediate level with all laws related to Health, Safety, workers compensation, and OSHA
- 1st Aid/CPR/AED trainer certified preferred
- OSHA 10 hr. or 30 hr. certification preferred
- Seasoned presentation skills preferred
- Productions operations experience including leadership positions preferred

Salary: $57,000 - $67,000
