IES Residential is looking for aSafety Coordinator for the Tampa, Florida area. The candidate should have a good understanding of current OSHA safety polices, strong communications skills, and the ability to work in a team setting to further a safety culture within IES Residential. Job will require 50% travel.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct site safety inspections on jobsites
- Work with IES management to promote a safety culture.
- Conduct safety training
- Lead safety meetings
- Investigate all workplace injuries and vehicle accidents.
- Be involved with OSHA site inspections.
- Communicate policy and procedures to management and field employees.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the safety field
- First Aid CPR Instructor is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is Required
- Strong public speaking skills
- OSHA 30 preferred
