Description: 

This position is responsible for the retrieval, review, and retention of all video footage recorded images on LYNX buses for civil liability and other administrative matters that have to be recovered. Ensures all accidents/incidents within bus services are reviewed, downloaded, and stored based on accident and incident reports from the Bus Operations Communication Center. This position is also responsible for issuing ID badges for employees, vendors and contractors. Ensures badges are created with proper clearance and issued to proper individuals.

Essential Functions:

• Administers all video evidence reports and recovered video images, to include accountability, accuracy, storage, and retrieval of bus accidents, incidents, complaints, and/or any request from authorized personnel.
• Reviews all requests for digital video evidence and forwards one copy of the downloaded images to authorized parties and retains a copy of all downloaded images in a manner consistent with established policy. Maintains a log of all downloaded recordings to include the date of the event, the date of the request, the date of downloading, and the persons whom copies were sent.
• Maintains a master file of all recovered video in accordance with LYNX policies as well as local, state, and federal law.
• Maintains secure storage of all video evidence.
• Archives video data relating to claims and criminal activity while maintaining a chain of custody for all video evidence.
• Searches and retrieves any requested recorded images.  Reviews all footage of an incident to extract the maximum amount of information from every camera angle.
• Ensures that LCD video players are recharged and maintained.
• Trouble-shoots maintenance problems with the cameras and video bus system.
• Processes new badge requests and distributes ID badges in a timely manner (generally within 2 hours).
• Processes lost or replacement ID badge requests the same day while employee waits.
• Performs ID badging audits to insure all access control data is correct.
• Runs monthly access reports as directed by Manager of Safety and Security.
• Tracks and inventories all ID badging information to include but not limited to; number of ID badges replaced, issued, and length of time it takes to issue new ID badges.
• Adds or removes access to restricted areas as requested by Managers and above.
• Receives ID badges when employees terminate employment and deactivates ID badges immediately.
• Processes and creates new hire photos for employee ID badges.
• Performs other duties as may be required or assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Two years of experience with video technology/software, and the management of evidence collection plus one year of experience operating a badging/access control system.
• Experience developing and maintaining information in a database.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

• Knowledge of state and federal regulations and other LYNX safety programs and policies.
• Knowledge of Information Technology systems and networking.
• Proficiency using PC and software applications.
• Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work with little direction and supervision.
• Ability to manage highly confidential information and property.
• Ability to organize and track large volumes of requests and records.
• Ability to assimilate visual and audible information and accurately record and relay it both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exhibit a professional, courteous demeanor.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those encountered in the course of work using principles of excellent customer service.

Work Environment and Special Considerations:

• Must be able to work varied hours to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Will drive a company vehicle in order to get to buses to retrieve videos. Buses are moved from one location to another depending on maintenance schedules.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's license and safe driving record.

Rate will be determined by qualifications of candidates who exceed the minimum requirements.
