As a DOT Compliance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our company adheres to all state and federal laws, maintaining the highest standards of fleet administration, and promoting a culture of Safety and Compliance. Key Responsibilities:

• Legal Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to state and federal laws and regulations, developing and implementing fleet administration standards and vehicle operating policies.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Stay updated on OSHA, FMCSA, Federal, State, and Local DOT compliance regulations to ensure company-wide awareness and adherence.
• Enforcement Monitoring: Monitor and assist in the enforcement of DOT and FMCSA regulations to guarantee compliance and address any issues promptly.
• Issue Resolution: Evaluate, monitor, analyze, and identify driver compliance and non-compliance issues, resolving them in a timely and effective manner.
• Audits and Tracking: Conduct daily audits of drivers using fleet management and tracking software to ensure compliance and productivity.
• Driver Training: Provide drivers with training on FMCSA and Hazmat every 3 years to enhance their understanding and Compliance.
• Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular audits of maintenance records, driver qualifications, and mileage logs.
• Driver Support: Assist, coach, and train drivers and operations teams on all questions, concerns, and issues related to driver compliance.
• Training Programs: Take charge of conducting DOT Compliance Trainings throughout the company to foster a culture of compliance and safety.
• Consultant Coordination: Coordinate and utilize external consultants effectively to meet compliance goals and objectives.
